Memorial garden

Deciding where ashes should rest is often harder than arranging the funeral itself, and there is no need to hurry it. Some families keep them at home for years; others want a fixed place with a name on it, somewhere they can call in on without making a journey of it.

Our Memorial Garden and Gallery, a unique space for remembrance, was envisioned in 2009 as a way to enhance the area behind our Wood Street premises. Initially, we planned a simple lawn with a few flower beds and plaques on the boundary wall, offering a local space for families, especially those who had loved ones cremated away from home.



As plans evolved, it grew into the beautiful and serene facility we are proud of today. We welcome visitors to take a peaceful moment of reflection in our tranquil surroundings.

This facility, part of our funeral services in Rotherham, offers a meaningful way to honour and remember loved ones.

We feel it is important to have a peaceful place to visit to remember your pet and the fun & love they brought into your life. With this in mind we have created ‘Pet’s Corner’ as part of our Memorial Garden & Gallery in Swinton for furry friends that have crossed over “The Rainbow Bridge.” We offer portrait granite plaques, painted by hand from £95.

Our opening times are 8:00am – 6:00pm between 1st October – 31st March and 8:00am – 9:00pm between 1st April – 30th September
